I live in the biggest city below Equator, and my options for observation are the Moon, planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Venus) and a few deep-skies and double stars. Because of seeing conditions my highest power is about 150x. To judge how good it the Antares Elite eyepiece I used a 9.7mm Meade Super Plossl, that is close in focal lenght. Comparing the images of Jupiter and Saturn, I found the images in Antares Elite with more contrast and sharp on-axis. The Great Red Spot and Cassini's division was an easy target. These targets in Meade SP, while visible, they were not evident. The 10mm Antares Elite eyepiece is a good eyepiece for general lunar and planetary observation
