I'm not sure of the model of this EP, there is nothing engraved on it besides 'Celestron' and 25mm.

I received my Celestron free of charge when I purchased my first telescope. I didn't expect great performance from it, but I was in for a surprise.

Please keep in mind that I used this EP with an 8" Meade LX200.

I was suprised to see that it delivers great performance on the Moon, Saturn and some DSOs. On the moon the viewing was so crisp, crater details were very clear.

On DSOs (M13, M100 and others), the image was brighter than expected, I think the brightness of the image is due to the low number of elements found in other high quality eyepieces.

This eyepiece has a short eye relief which is good for me (I don't wear any prescription glasses).

I asked about the original price for this eyepiece: $45.00 + tax. Not bad for the performance it delivered, I would recommend it to anyone on a small budget looking for a good planetary and DSO eyepiece.
