This eyepiece was a bit disapointing. Orion makes other better eyepieces of similar class, I'm not sure why they carry this one. On axis, view are very sharp however towards the edges the image degrades badly.

It does have a 66° field of view but what's the point if half of the image is blurry.
I would not recommend this eyepiece for a beginner.
