The Tele-Vue Nagler 2.5 T6 is a impressive piece of equipment. My telescope lens is a 152mm F/7 SuperApo. At first I was worried thinking how small the opening must be and that I will never be able to use it. However, knowing Tele Vue all their eyepieces are for fast scopes and maybe it will work, I decided to get it. Well it came, first thing I notice that it was nicely built and the coatings are lite and clear. The first target was Jupiter, wow. Not only the planet came in focus but was sharp and most important the colors were real and not warm. Now I had this 2.5 Nagler for about 1 year now. Another time I was star testing on Vega as always my zeiss ortho of lower power 10mm show no color on Vega. I was messing around with others, a old goto 12.5H, ultrascoptics, TV plossls and a Tak 3.6 ortho. I then tried the Nagler 2.5mm that eyepiece was white on Vega almost as the zeiss ortho and by a hair. I have taken pictures through that 2.5mm with my Olympus C4040 digital camera. The large opening allows for this and provides for a bright, high contrast image. Because of the 12mm eye relief viewing is a joy. Jim Fusco

Pros

What can I say, if you have a fast scope and want to run it, The Nagler 2.5 wil do it. I can't praise the Naglers enough and this eyepiece is remarkable.

Cons

I'm always grabbing for it, if I can't use it because of atmosphere, I call it a bad night.
