First, thanks for eyepiece calculator, it helped me figure out some numbers I wasn't aware of. I'm the proud owner of an Orion 80mm ED that I purchased on special for $399

This is a great eyepiece for deep space objects! Excellent optics, very sharp all accross the edge. With my 80mm, it gives about 10x maginification, not much you might think, but the views are stunning. There is no color on the moon, the contrast is simply amazing. Exit pupil is 7.1 degrees, the limit of what is humanly possible.

Eye relief is very comfortable for me (20mm), there is no beaning effect and I don't have to wipe the lens off everytime I use it.

This is a large and impressive 2" eyepiece, weighs 1.3lbs, it is made of 4 elements, so keep that in mind when using it on your mount.

Conclusion: This is a highly recommended eyepiece and not very expensive.

Pros

Very sharp
Inexpensive
Very comfortable

Cons
